AAIE Institute for International School Leadership

In a time of unprecedented demand for international schools,The Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE) proudly launched theAAIE Institute for International School Leadership in partnership with PLS 3rd Learning in September of 2012. The goal of the Institute is to meet the unique needs of active and aspiring international school leaders by providing online courses and professional mentorship that combine real-world knowledge with research-based frameworks. Over the course of the two-year program, participants worldwide engage in ongoing dialogue and job-embedded learning initiatives using social media-like functionality. Participants can enroll in individual courses as well as the full two-year Institute. Optional graduate credit is available leading toward a Master’s degree in International School Leadership through Wilkes University. Upon successful completion of the entire Institute, participants will receive the distinct honor of being inducted as an AAIE Fellow.

The AAIE Institute courses provide invaluable real-life scenarios and specific strategies taught by experienced international school leaders. Each course focuses on a key component of international school leadership.

There are four additional courses offered through Wilkes University if participants are interested in earning a Masters Degree in addition to the Certificate of Completion. A separate Wilkes University application is needed and is completed directly with Wilkes University.
